Have to edit every listing to just change the price, unreal

Prices quickly change these days and everything is going up sometimes on a weekly basis. Ebay cant seem to grasp reality as parts and materials are in shortage across the board.

We need to be able to go into over a thousand listings and quickly change prices.  Ebay has blocked this by making sellers add another general item specific type or removes it from your listing and make you add it again just to change the price of your listing.  This could take weeks if not months to change the prices of everything and by then the prices have already changed again.  EXAMPLE -a keyboard that says keyboard in the title, item specific and in the description they are making you add Keyboard yet again in another block or you cant change the price of your listing **bleep**??  A listing that sells regularly all year with no issues.

Must be a work around to quickly change prices of goods with out being slaved into re- editing every single listing which is insane.  any work around here, help!

When selling high end stuff you could lose hundreds of dollars fast!

Of course no skin off the Billionaire Ebays back.

The edit all function in https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active doesn't accomplish this?

Yes, you are limited to 200 listings but it's better than individually. I'm pretty sure once it pops out to the spreadsheet you can bulk change prices.

In the link I gave you, there is a items per page dropdown in the bottom right, select 200. Then click the action checkbox to highlight everything, then use the edit dropdown. This will pop you out to a matrix that you can bulk change pricing.

@echotonemusic   If your price changes are ALL different then you can not use the Bulk Editor.  If they are the same (like Increase by $ 5.00) then you can use the Bulk Editor ... even if the base prices are all different but the dollar amount you want to increase is the same it will work.

If you hope eBay will develop a feature to let prices be changed in random amounts on numerous listings at one time forget it.  First there is probably not a lot of demand for that and secondly, I would have no confidence in their ability to get it right the time through ... it would take a long time for the to develop and troubleshoot something like that.

Go to Active Listings to search using word "key board" (since those are the ones you need to revise).   Then do a "mass edit" by clicking on "edit selected items".   Then just add "keyboard" to your item specifics and change "your pricing".

this may be the best solution. Bulk edit the Keyword or the group of items you changing the price to. Then go back in and change the price.  Every item is a different price of course.  Thanks

Do we really need to add Keyboard to a listing that has keyboard in the title, keyboard in the specifics and Keyboard in the description? NO.    I think its just a way for ebay to force everyone to edit every listing all the time.

After all the listing is fine just the way it is and has been for years.  Many happy customers

Go to my ebay

to Seller Hub

Click 'Active Items'

There you will see all items; you can hover at the top right corner of the price, and a box comes up allowing you to increase just the price without putting it in the 'edit' program (which may force you to do other things)

Yes you can use the bulk editor to put a different price on every listing.

You still must enter each price individually, but the "Save and Next" feature in the bulk editor makes it much, much faster than opening each listing individually.

edit price, then click "Save & Next"

edit price, then click "Save & Next"

edit price, then click "Save & Next"

etc.

Don't ascribe any kind of plot to what is just really bad coding and taxonomy.  The item specifics have been a mess for entire large categories for several years now.

I use bulk edit or all of this stuff.  In point of fact, you can choose 'all' in the drop down in the listings pane rather than just those you select.  When I was selling more I could edit over 200 at a time. The bulk editor does save some time.
