When I view an items page and I look at the pictures then close them out and hit browser back button the page kind of flickers. I usually have to click again twice to go back to previous page. This is something that started within the last couple weeks or so. I didn't change any browser settings or ebay settings so not sure if it's a glitch. I tried using Ccleaner to wipe the cache, etc but still does it. Just super frustrating because I spend a lot of time on this site and it's eating up time clicking back multiple times. Also, it doesn't do this for any other websites I use. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

Right click and open a new tab for the item. When you close it out you're back at the original page automatically. Still forget every once in a while...

I think what may be happening is that something you're doing on that page is causing a second iteration of your page visit to get logged in your browser history, even though it's the same address. Thus when you hit your Back button, the "flicker" you see is your browser refreshing the same page in the course of trying to go back. Your second Back finally gets you to your previous page.
The next time you're in a situation where this is happening, try right-clicking on your Back arrow to display your previous page visits, and see if you have two copies of the latest page sitting on that stack. Thus when you click your Back button, you're simply going back to the first iteration of the current page. You need two hits to get completely back to where you came from.
I don't see this happening too often in my eBay browsing, but it does happen routinely in my Shipping process. When I select an item to be shipped from my Sold Items page, I first go in to print the Packing Slip, then hit my Back button to back out and move on to any other items also needing Packing Slips. That works with just a single click of the Back button.
However, when I go in to actually buy and print the Shipping label, that involves a popup or two off the Shipping page. Even though the popups close themselves after the label is printed, it still takes me two clicks of the Back button instead of just one to get me out to my Sold Items page again.
I'm used to that now, and my quickest exit from the Shipping form back to the Sold Items page is to right-click on my Back button and select the Manage All Orders page that way, two levels down from where I am. It's a little kludgy, but I gave up trying to get eBay to fine-tune their webpages long ago, and I now reserve making a fuss for only their really egregious errors.
