UPS created a hole in the box which contained a 16 piece serving set. One item was damaged.. Customer does not want to return shipment... does not want compensation from me (the shipper) because it was very well packaged and UPS created the damage in transit.
I would like to file a claim, but UPS will not allow claim to process... EBAY is no help at all.... please, someone,
can I get no compensation from this problem???

Typically, the problem arises if you used eBay for the label. eBay then becomes the "shipper" not you, and you need to do something a bit differently. (See Tip)

Thanks for the tip... but I discovered the way to do it on line after e-mailing the claims dept. We are now just waiting for payment.
