I was sending photos to a seller from my buying account just the other day with no issues. You should see the uploaded photos in thumbnail size on your screen before sending off your message. Where do things seem to be going wrong?

It takes me to the upload section and I select the picture. It goes back to the message and does nothing. I waited for a while but nothing came through. Tried three times.

I've never been able to get a picture to attach to an eBay message.

Okay, I just tried setting up a reply to a message I received, selected a photo to upload from the computer, and clicked the button, at which point it uploaded the image file and showed a little thumbnail image of it when the upload completed.
If you're not seeing the upload action, possibly either your Javascript installation is not up to date (try going to java.com and following the instructions there to see if you have the latest release), or your browser doesn't like the eBay interface. I use Chrome as the primary browser on all my machines, even the old XP boxen, and the upload works fine. If you're using Internet Explorer, I would see if Chrome can do it instead. (You don't have to give up IE in order to test Chrome; the two can co-exist on the same machine.)
I don't think this is a popup issue, but possibly something in the Javascript that your browser does not understand about how to upload the image.

Well, given that this is the first time ever in 17 years, I don't think the fault is at my end...lol. Being an ex-geek, I'd dont miss updates. On other things.....well....hmmmmm

Hello Trinton.
I had a customer shortly after the weekly meeting and I had no problems attaching photo's for her. I haven't cleared my cache yet because I don't believe that is the problem. I went through my in box and tried attaching the pictures that my first customer wanted and in every case they attached fine. When I went back to my customers, they still wouldn't attach. I tried again today and same thing. I ending up putting the pictures in the listing so at least she could see them.
Is it possible for a member to block messages that have photo's attached? That's the only thing I can come up with. If she set her messages to be received in text only, would that do it?

Hi @odditiesandantiquities1, I couldn't find any kind of account setting that would block photos, so I believe this is most likely due to the file size, either pixel length and height or the KB size itself. Can you tell me the size of the files you are trying to send? Is there a specific error message you are seeing? Did you try this in multiple browsers?
