I made a sale today and checked my traffic in the seller hub. The two bar graphs in the middle of the page "Impressions" and "Page Views" are totally different than they were yesterday. For example, two days ago my impressions were about 100, now the views have been edited down to 4? Also my % conversion rate has gone from about 2% to 12%.
Is this a bug, or some weirdness in the algorithm, or is it something worse? Yesterday my page views went from "33" to "4"?
Thanks!

I actually just decided to put my store on vacation for a week starting last night. Just hoping they straighten it out. I really don't like to lodge complaints about Ebay's business practices but this has really got me bewildered. I could *not* get it across to them that somehow the algorithm had changed *all* my past performance to something that made me look like an entirely different seller. 4 views per day, 11 percent conversion communicates "drug dealer", not purveyor of rescued thrift items.
I keep recalling how this csr was telling me that the problem was I just suddenly had so much more competition than before. I'm saying: okay, fine -- but the bars on this graph are saying my sales were always like this.
Also, now, apparently, the daily sales graph resents at 7 PM CST, instead of midnight.
Finally decided to give them a week to work it out. Those traffic numbers are the only thing besides sales that tell you anyone at all is looking at your inventory besides you.

Funny, we actually went on vacation from 7/15 - 7/21 and set the Time Away option on our store. When we got back and I checked the stats everything seemed to be showing properly again. Must have been a bug that they resolved.

I just watched this happen. Dec 3rd I had almost 300 page views, it was published that way for nearly a week, then suddenly today, I'm going over the numbers, reviewing performance and suddenly the page views for dec 3rd are suddenly 187, around 100 views for that day suddenly vanished, the numbers were changed randomly. Now I find myself going over all the reasons why that maybe, from maybe repeat views from the same account, to a system error to maybe ebay playing with my stats to make it look like they give me more traffic seeing as the traffic they slimmed was external site traffic which I've been monitoring closely as I'm a local business and started selling regularly on eBay during the pandemic. I do conventions like comic-con and have 20k followers on facebook so thats why I've been watching the numbers closely for external site visits, I'm trying to see what products translate well with my facebook audience. I've been using facebooks traffic graphs to also track specific product posts to see whats getting the most activity specifically. However I wonder back over to eBay's stats and they are changing numbers on me for specific days that have long since been published, shrinking the external site values. Does anyone have anymore information on this?
