Has anyone else dealt with this? - Indefinite Restriction when I did nothing.

I have had my account linked to some scammer account for absolutely no reason. I made a listing to sell an iphone and I got the message that I am restricted from selling. I called to see what happened, and noone will help me, all they do is tell me that I am linked to this account, and its a "Strong Connection" but they wont tell me how or why or how I can prove myself not to be that connection, I missed an email from them in 2018 where they said that I could fix this problem, but now all of a sudden I cant fix it at all. And then they basically hang up on me, I cant appeal the decision, or prove anything to them it is what it is. But for some reason I can still buy from them though, that's no problem, I just cant sell. Has anyone else had  a problem like or close to this?

Maybe they just saved you from loosing your iPhone and any payment made.

If it is an indefinite/permanent restriction, it is just that, permanent.  I have never read or heard about anyone coming back from a permanent selling restriction.

There was a reason.

In 2018 you might have had some clue if you were paying attention.

Today, 6 years later, unless you have an insight in who you are closely associated with is a crook, there is nothing you can do. And if you knew who, there is probably nothing you can do.
