Has Anyone Tried the Traffic Promotion eBay is Offering

I have tried numerous promotions recently offered. I Feel the traffic promotion seems redundant. If you are promoting listings, running discounted promotions/sales, why would you need to fork over yet more of your tiny and tinier profit?  I am looking for feedback from sellers who have stores that have actually tried this offering and did it improve sales?

@movinchi  ebay doesn't send everyone the same promotions, so it would help if you:

1. told us exactly what promotion you are talking about (I'm guessing the external pay per click promotion, but don't know for sure). and

2. what is it you sell, as some promotions are better suited to some types of inventory rather than other.

Yes, I tried it and I do not recommend the pay per click ads.  It will destroy the health of your store. Many sellers are constantly sourcing and will click to see price, etc. No intention to buy. Others are just information shopping. You pay for all of it.  More views and fewer sales make the algorithm think your store is defective and it will destroy your visibility. Promote items, not the store.
