You can set anywhere from same business day handling time up to 40 business day handling time. That's not new. It's always been that way (except the 40 biz days was previously max 30 biz days, but even that change was at least 2 years ago).
If you're running into problems setting your handling time @morphius135 I suggest starting a new thread rather than piggybacking on an old issue from 18 mos ago that was specific to a different seller's account. You'll get more relevant advice that way and less confusion will be caused as people won't start responding to the original poster of this discussion instead of you.
For the record, the issue I raised here still persists for us.
In my research I found that based on which old "Guaranteed Delivery" system you are on, there's TWO shipping systems that are STILL ACTIVE on eBay (even though Guaranteed Delivery was removed from the settings pages, the systems are STILL ACTIVE!)
If you were on Handling Time Guaranteed Delivery, that is the "eBay default" shipping system.
If you were on "Door to Door Guaranteed Delivery", you are now on a bugged/glitched shipping system, and it it's been so long that it doesn't seem that any of the developers at eBay are even aware of this.
TLDR: eBay didn't properly removed Guaranteed Delivery, and if you were on Door to Door, you are stuck on a different shipping system than most eBay'ers and have glitches that may never be fixed.
