Handling Tax on an Invoice

HOLY **bleep**!!! A buyer wanted me to combine shipping for the auctions she won and send her a revised invoice. Of course, it is to be expected.

Well, the invoice template is asking for State (her state or mine?) and tax% (If hers, I have to look up her tax somewhere, and should it include city/county taxes?)

Ugh! The last time I sold on eBay was before we had to collect/pay sales tax. I had NO IDEA what I was getting into when I listed 50+ items! UGH—PLEASE HELP!!!

eBay will automatically calculate her state's sales tax and add it to her total, just ignore that space on the invoice. All you need to do is enter the combined shipping cost.

Sales Tax is always based on the Buyer's address.
