I see the tax I'm charged when I make a purchase when I click on View order details, but I can't find the sales tax that is collected from my buyers.
Any suggestions?
Thank you in advance

I'll ask this.... why do you care? How does that tax information, or lack thereof, help you with your selling business?
Me? I focus on things I have control over and that effect my business. The rest is "nice to know" stuff I don't have time for.
I'm just saying!

Only the buyers know that information.

My CPA is interested.
@Anonymous
Why? How is that material to YOUR taxes?
Only way I can 'think' that might be of interest is IF YOU collected the sales tax and were responsible for remitting that to the tax authorities. Wonder where the CPA's head is at or what I am missing?

First, it depends on where your buyer is located. Not all states are applying sales tax for online purchases. Also if the buyer is from abroad.
When you send the buyer an Invoice you will see the tax included (if applicable).

Perhaps when your payment processor or martketplace starts charging you fees on the amount they collect for you it may become more of a concern.

Because in SOME states the state STILL requires the seller to show the gross sales where the tax was collected by ebay. You don't get to just ignore the sales in your gross figures.

I don't know where to find that info currently but come November i hope its just a click away.
From ebay help pages...
Starting in November 2019, the way taxable transactions are processed and how taxes are collected for remittance will change, as follows:
So yeah, will need to know where to find that info for tax purposes as Paypal will be charging fees on the transaction and as its not part of my income i and many others will need accurate details.
