Don't worry about ^^^ that. Just put that bidder on your Block Bidder list. Good luck.

I think the question is why didn’t you block them after the first time?

Do your or did you open an Unpaid Item case on this buyer. If so the UPI is posted to the buyeres record. If not nothing shows on the report card.
Block the bidder only helps you.

<Heads up.... you have to have a current transaction in progress to be able to report> So if they didn't pay and the case was already closed, you probably won't be able to report them... I just noticed that indeed that my current unpaid item that is waiting to time out is able to be reported on....
Thank you for taking the time to report these people, and try and get them weeded out! I don't usually do auctions, but found rather early on that "best offer" removes the requirement for immediate payment. Since I have started using "Best Offer", I have had SO many unpaid item cases, and it is really burdensome because it removes your item from the marketplace while it is waiting for payment for 5 days now (yes they just increased it from 2 days to 4 days - and you have to wait an entire 5 days to request a return of fees!)... So today, after another unpaid item case is sitting in my queue waiting for the 4 days to elapse so I can escalate the case.... I suddenly decided to remove ALL of the "Best Offer"s from my listings.
WHEN WILL EBAY ALLOW US TO CHOOSE TO ALLOW A BEST OFFER *AND* REQUIRE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT?!

Never will happen. It is not possible to do so.

I would argue that it would be easy to implement on auto accept offers. It's no different than buying it now.

I've seen a few buyers come to the buyers board wondering why they were banned from buying, so it does happen. I'm sure these are the ones who don't know about making another account...or guest buyers...

Buyers have between 2 and about 10,000 non-payments before they are kicked off...if anyone ever actually has

You are correct. But that is the only best offer scenario where it would work. Better than nothing I suppose.

Yep..
Simple and quite rational.
There are a LOT of sites that require a payment source be entered before making an offer. It's understood if the offer is accepted, that payment source will be charged.
It's a simple fix and makes things so much easier for sellers.. This wouldn't be injurious to the buyer at all- as long as they're making a serious offer.
