I just sold an item and it had my old PayPal address on it so the buyer paid to that address but show up as pending because I closed that account so it doesnt exist.
I have cancelled the order but now it is asking me to refund the Buyer but I dont have that account anymore. So the funds are in limbo somewhere.
I dont know what to do. Any advice?

Try adding the old email address back into your PayPal account. That should grab the payment.

Another solution... the buyer should be able to cancel the pending payment. Ask the buyer to log in to his PayPal account to do this.

I recently had this as a buyer. I cancelled the payment I made and the seller invoiced me through PP for the proper amount. All worked out.
