So I had a seller sell me and my wife rooted phones.
There was a big change to something and a bunch of people got their phones
hit with an error. Seller says right on his description that if you cant fix it, to send it back and he will take care of it. We have to pay shipping, which is no big deal. He did provide instructions on how to fix it.
Well I had 1 phone that I could not get no matter what I tried, but got the others fine.
He said I cant send it back, even though I asked him about his policy right there that says we can.
Is this against ebay policy?

eBays MBG is 30 days from delivery.
If you received the item less than 30 days ago - File a Not As Described case.
The seller will have 4 days to refund or supply a return shipping label and then refund.

Ebay gives you 30 days to return items that don't work. Just file a case against the seller and state "Not as described." You will then start the process of returning the item. You will then receive a label and just return it. Once returned you will get a refund.

After a year, I don't know any one that would take a used phone back.
