As stated in my other post, new to ebay selling in 2021.
Sales did not reach the level to get a 1099-K
I think I know the answer to my question, but am hoping I am wrong.
I am looking for a total of my gross sales transactions. What the buyer paid me, including shipping. I have my records, and have generated some reports where I can total things up, but what I want is to see that total displayed someplace other than on my calculator.
I can go to Sellers Hub > Performance > Seller level > Transactions and sales , but the $$ amount there does not include shipping paid by the customer
From there > Monthly breakdown is again just the $$ amount the items sold for but does not include the buyer paid shipping.
Seller Hub > Orders will only provide a 90 display of that "gross" $$ total amount.
It appears that to have a record displaying the total $$, I would have to have done that each quarter 90 days right on the day that quarter 90 days ended, as all that the "custom" option allows is a "custom" display of those days in the past 90 days.................................. based upon the current date. Besides that, I sell on a monthly basis, and other stuff is given out monthly.
"Performance", which does not have the gross $$ total,................. is broken down "monthly".
Seller Hub "Orders" will give me a gross $$ total, but is "90 day blocks" which are not available.............................. 1 day after the 90 days as each new day, an older day drops off.
Am I correct, or am I missing some obvious report? Am I on my own to get the calculator out to total up the "gross" sales $$ from the reports that are available? And why, oh why would the needed Gross $$ total info only be available for 90 days?
If I am correct(hope I'm not), why do I have to save/print multiple monthly reports to get a total that should all be available in one (1) report? I know the answer to this. I should ask ebay why, not ask those suffering from the same deficient process.
Well on it. Why is there not a total for ..... seller fees paid, ........... labels purchase through ebay, ....... $$ refunded? What kind of mickey mouse operation is this? Are they there? Am I missing them?
I hope to never see an auditor, but having the info filed backed up with a minimal amount of paperwork(or flash drive data) would seem to be the ideal situation. Here is my alleged "gross". Here are my alleged "deductions". Here is my blank check. Leave me enough for lunch.

This is a quick workaround I use.....
Performance Tab ----> Sales ----->
For the Range setting choose "Custom"
01/01/2021 to 12/31/2021
Click Generate Report (Leave the Compared to alone)
Shows Gross
Labels
Fees
Taxes
in the first table
with breakdowns as you scroll down the page

Thanks for the reply.
That link just takes me where I have already been to do some reports.
I want gross $$ totaled on one page, not 12 pages that I have save.
I want my ebay shipping label $$ on one page, not 12.
I want my ebay fee paid $$ on one page, not 12.
I guess I'm just not smart enough to find what I am looking for.

I will try my best to explain how I did it. Print a financial statement and a tax invoice for each month
"Total minus fee" from financial statement plus "final value fees" from tax invoice equals your gross sales.
The financial records will break down shipping, "other fees" are store subscriptions and other fees, and refunds. Do one of each for each month....

"I want my ebay shipping label $$ on one page, not 12. "
I only pay for labels using a PayPal account. It keeps the cost separate from all the other reports.

Use GATEFOLD's recommended method to generate the report. While you can select what you want in the report I simply pull everything, save it in an EXCEL spreadsheet and rack and stack the information in the form I desire. If you are purchasing your shipping labels directly through a PayPal account you can pull that information directly from PayPal and it will include any fee's you paid on those transactions.

I go to the > Seller Hub > Payments > Reports and download the transaction report from January 1 to December 31.
I then open the CSV file as a spreadsheet, separate the "Order", "Refund", and "Shipping Label" transactions into separate pages, and sum the columns for
And before you say it - yes, I realize that this is not exactly what you are looking for. But it gets the job done for me.
As for why eBay doesn't provide a report with total - No idea. But I suspect that might be because they do not want sellers to make incorrect assumptions about how eBay calculated the totals.

Once you export all the transactions, you still must either import them into a spreadsheet or an accounting program. Either will allow you to sort and subtotal as required with just a few clicks to arrive at a single total for each of the totals you require. Afraid ebay will not do this for you.

Thanks for your reply on this.
That is a page/report option that I had not yet discovered.
It appears that it is what I need.

That was something that I able to locate, but wished to avoid the multiple page prints/saves.
Thank you for your reply.

I have read the reports can be generated on PP, but that a "business" account is required for such.
Don't have a PP "business" account, and don't want one.
Someone else may find it beneficial, so thanks for your reply.

Thanks for the reply, but over my head. My head hurts just thinking about it.
I have read about CSV files, and have tried to understand, tried to do them, but just a big jumbled
mess when I attempt, and can not progress to anything that is of any use to me.
Beyond my mental capacity.
I have just recently been able to do a Microsoft Works Spreadsheet, and it was by
accident that I stumbled into being able to do those.

You read about them? Excel in Microsoft Excel.

I may go to PP to manually extract some info. Don't remember, but may have purchased a label or 3 from there. Could move me down enough to drop down a few $$ on what I owe. Hate it when I have to pay another $6 for making $0.51 over the $50 increment.
