Google search and white picture background ...

I heard today that the only way an eBay item will show up in Google search is if it has a white picture background ... this from an eBay Seller's blog ... anyone know if this is true or not?

Another awesome reply ... I had read eBay's picture recommendations a while ago so it all makes sense.

From what I learned, best is:

• white background
• No logo or waternmarks
• Generally good quality images

This said, I see my images when I search on Google, but they are not linked to my listings. Not that other seller 'borrowed' them, Google doesn't always link images with its source.
