I was going through my Ebay Messages last night and found an exchange I had back in February with a customer, and thought it would be fun to share here.
Once in a while, I will underprice an item intentionally... I know, I'm nuts, but I am blessed to be doing ok financially and I am a big believer in karma. And I enjoy sending presents to people. (My adult kids don't want presents, they just want cash. 😊)
The Bible in question was quite old and was worth a good bit. But it was also signed by the editor -- and my research indicated that it was a lot more valuable than my asking price.
(I did not indicate in the listing that it was signed by the editor; I only provided a photo of the page with the inscription, along with other photos showing condition, etc..)
My customer purchased it, then followed up with this message.
Of course, I told him I was pleased to send it to him and wished him well.
Anyone else have this sort of experience?
