Just got the following email from GoDaddy. Of course, that is the service I use. I hate change.
After much consideration, we've made the decision to discontinue Online Bookkeeping on June 18, 2022. At that time, the Online Bookkeeping tool will stop importing transactions from your connected channels and your existing data will be archived. To provide you with the best possible experience going forward, we've partnered with Intuit to offer you a special discount on QuickBooks Online.
Anyone have experience with QuickBooks, good or bad?

I just tried to wrap my head around how to get all the sales and all the costs into the wave program. We use pp for purchases but those purchases goes through our checking account from there so the checking account would record the costs of goods and the deposits ebay makes into that checking account, but the Ebay FEES are not in this batch of info, nor are the shipping label charges. These would have to be imported through ebay and if there is no app connection we are back to square one with this to be fully automated unless we can figure out how to transfer ALL the ebay data into the program.

Our bank statements do not include the charges for ebay fees and shipping labels, back to square one because something has to be used with the bank statement to add the ebay fees and shipping label charges for us. Our bank statements would have all the costs of goods and ebay deposits from sales alone, no ebay fees and shipping label fees.

At this point I am thinking about extrapolating from the past 6 years of taxes done, get the 1099 with the total sales take a guess at all the reconciliation issues and just plug in random close estimates, LOL!!!

I would need a 1 year total from ebay on shipping labels and ebay fees, then plug it in for reconciliation. I think that ebay tracks these for 90 days at a time so every 90 days without fail I would have to just print the thing off. And check for any duplicate charges from running the printouts.

I signed up with zapier and created an eBay transfer setup. So far it sends the sale info into wave accounting automatically. I just have to figure out the settings to send fees as well.

Wave help pages will take you directly to the wave/zapier connection. They ZAPIER, have an ebay app.

Signup for the free basic bookeeping to try it out. There is a help chat automated chat thing that you can ask questions about integrating ebay. That chat will give you the link to the wave/zapier connection to the ebay app.

How did you get the transfer of the sales. I just tried to connect with the zapier and I must have hit the wrong connection. IF POSSIBLE CAN YOU GIVE US the steps you used to get this to work.

I just tried to figure out how to use the Zapier with the wave and I was not successful for the ebay transfer. I hope other poster can give us some more instructions.

I went to zapier and created an account. Then chose Ebay to wave integration from the zapier "zap search". There will be several options in the wave zaps. I chose "record sale in Wave" It will then have to sign in to ebay and wave to sync the apps. Once that is done it will test the connection. I have to figure out how to get Ebay fees to sync as well. I haven't played with it too much yet. the record sale in wave will let you connect ebay to wave and import all new sales.

I will continue messing with it and see if I can figure out the best integration. The zap that creates and invoice for the transaction includes the ebay fee in it. That may be the best way to integrate. I am not sure.
