For the past few days, I have been unable to list and edit any of my listings. When we are on the Listing Page, especially; as choosing specifics for the item, it automatically transfers to Global error page, and get the message: "Well, this is embarrassing. We're sorry, but the listing tool isn't working right this second. Please try again later. Go to selling main page." I have attached screenshot to show the error.
I have tried to clean cookies & cache; and use different browser and computer after chatting with experts via chat. Then, I talk to eBay staff. They just ask me wait for 24h to list the item. Unfortunately, the error is still existed.
Is there any one have the same experience? Is there any options to list or edit my listing?

Have you set up your Managed Payment account? If you have been asked to do that and haven't, they may be blocking you from listing and revising. Just a guess...

I have had this error for over a week now. Been on the chat and phone and the wait 24 hours line.....then waited 4 days and literally on the phone for almost two hours and transferred back and forth between 2 departments until i finally got someone who seemed like they knew what htey were talking about and they were stumped and said IT needs to look at it and they will contact me back. 3 days later nothing and won't work. i have no idea what to do? so frustrating.

I've had this issue for the past week. It is super frustrating. I've found that once i get my photos correct, I save the listing so they are sure to saved. Then using templates with as much info entered as possible in item specifics has been a big help as the error message mainly pops up when trying to edit those specifics... once they are correct, i hurry and save again... it has been horrible but I've managed to get a handful of things listed each day. I've also cleared out cache, used different browser etc all with the same result :*(

Hey all, I've run into this problem more and more over the past few weeks when I'm speeding through detail input on my listings. The way I've been able to get back to listing like normal is just to hit the browser back button. You might lose a few of the details you just filled in but I've been able to go back to the listing edit page and then continue the listing as normal. Super annoying but it's been working for me. I hope this helps at least one of you guys! 🙂

Hitting the back button only brings me to the same error page. It's like an infinite loop. BTW, this just now started happening to me, and that's why I'm here.

I just started to see this error last week also. It looks like the bulk selling option works but I just need the simple listing page for all that I do.

Do you have a popup blocker on your machine? Item Specifics and other settings generate popup windows superimposed over the form in order to collect new specifics, pricing and shipping settings, preferences and so on. Perhaps you have antiviral software that's misreading the popup commands as attempted ads.
The "This is awkward" page indicates that the listing form detected the blockade preventing its popups from successfully appearing, but is not providing a specific-enough error message to tell the user what the problem is.

Yes, been encountering this on and off this week on the mobile app as well. Also, If I go to my active listings view, I get a similar error message followed by something like “you currently have no active listings” and it shows a blank index page. If I refresh a few times it will go away and then my listings appear on the index page again.

I am finding the same issue's only on variable listings with larger amounts of stock or items included. Smaller variable listings work fine currently on my eBay.
It is a huge problem though for me as a seller as I need to change stock numbers for those and cannot so it's costing me money this week. Global Error page comes up even tried the pressing back method, reloading and this does not work. It also does not work on various browsers or even mobile.
