Global Shipping Program: Refund Includes Shipping Fee?

Hi, everyone. I sold an item through the Global Shipping Program, and the buyer opened a Return Request stating that the item is not as described.

Although I do not entirely agree with his reasoning, I am intending to just give him the full refund and let him keep the item, to save the hassle and move on. But my question is, do I just refund the item price he's paid me, or should the refund include the GSP fee (international shipping + taxes) that he's paid?

Hopefully someone who has experience on this can explain or share his/her experience.

Thank you!

The buyer needs to open a return request through eBay.

Then you the seller will be able to respond to the case by giving a refund through eBay. This will automatically trigger a return of the GSP portion that the buyer paid, for international shipping and import charges. They will be returned from the GSP, you don't have to pay for that part of the refund because you didn't receive that part of the payment.
