Gift Card Scam

I just sold two Chipotle gift cards. One had $10.00 on it and the other had $20.00 on it.

I got them from a friend for Christmas and my birthday.

I never used them. I checked the numbers with the Chipotle website before sending them out.

The buyer claims that one has 8 cents on it and the other one nothing.

This is simply not possible. I am a top rated seller and would never sell them if they did not have the amount stated on them.

This is probably a situation where I cannot prove that he used them and wanted to return them...

Ideas? Suggestions? This is so unfair...

Re: Gift Card Scam

Just a heads-up...you are only allowed to list one gift card at a time. One listing of 2 gift cards is not allowed.

Re: Gift Card Scam

For some reason you showed the gift cards for the world to see.  Anyone could of used the cards thanks to your own carelessness.  They don't need the actual card in person, any food establishment will punch in the card #'s manually or they could be entered by whoever ordered when doing an online order as well.

You need to do the right thing and just refund the buyer and chalk it up as a lesson learned...
