Getting onto the Boards from the App (probably the 1,000,000th time)

I normally get to the boards under my other ID and from a real computer, but curiosity struck.  I had to dig around and finally get into my own eBay messages (itself not easy)  before a link showed up at the bottom of the page.  It made me wonder if a lot of the problems phone buyers turn into SNADs and other returns couldn't be fixed by easier access to the boards.  Buyers can't use what buyers can't see or easily find.  The rest of the App is a fumble-fest, so this shouldn't have been a surprise.

Community forums are featured at the bottom of almost every single eBay help page as one of the ways to contact someone and get help. That's the reason so many posters come here and think they are speaking directly to CS.

Edit: I somehow missed the "phone buyers" part of it. Duh.

Interesting. I will have to mess around on the app and see how difficult it is to find this place now that you've called it out. Thanks!

(me from my usual login)  At one point they reforumulated the Boards, and made it harder for anyone to get into them.  Even former regular users.  The change and the lack of control back then cost them a LOT of regular users who were both knowledgable and helpful in their specialites.  They were also sellers for the most part.  Most are just plain gone, never to return.  Other than here I only really post on one Jewelry board, and that not as often as I used to.  Neither is anyone else.

The app was on my Galaxy tablet and finding a way into the boards was NOT easy.  I had a tough time getting into Messages never mind anything else.  The link to the boards may have been at the bottom of a regular page, but scrolling down that far would take all day.  And then to make phone/tablet buyers kind of think these boards are read by staffers....   No wonder we get the screamers; I'd be screaming too.

I find a link to my messages at the bottom of my selling summary page on the app, the link is right there, but I agree most of the app is a 'fumble fest'.

As for the boards, I don't bother accessing through the app, I just use a web browser (firefox mobile). Guess I'll hunt around, but I mostly use my phone when I'm on the road - my daily tasks are done on a PC or notebook.
