I sell a lot on eBay mostly clothes, a buyer asked if he could send a shirt back that didn't back and I refused...for the sake that he didn't ask me for any measurements nor do I know if it would have fit him or not, and made a bogus claim in the his negative feedback that the shirt was "cheap", perhaps to make his claim stronger.
I contacted eBay and said it was malicious feedback, they have yet to respond and it's been a week. Can you get these negative feedbacks removed, and why won't eBay respond?
I've had issues with eBay in the past as far as correspondence, they offer a "contact us" and to write them with issues and they never respond, is this negligence? As a seller, I feel they do absolutely nothing to listen to issues. I feel there should be a class action suit on the horizon, as there system is borderline fake as they offer to help but have no desire to.

Just looked at negative and buyer did not say anything that would be actionable by ebay to remove.
You do know that your buyer can just file SNAD and return it for a refund.

The measurements should have been in the listing. Buyers should not have to ask you for that info; sorry. Buyers want to see all the info needed to make an informed buying decision in the listing; otherwise, they can just hit the back button, and you have lost a sale. Even if they message you for that info, they may have moved on to another listing that has measurements in it by the time they get your response. And again, you have lost a sale.
There is no malicious feedback here and I doubt Ebay would remove it. It is the buyer's opinion. Maybe no answer is your answer.
If the buyer filed SNAD, you would offer a return and a refund, or just refund. The MBG overrides your no returns policy.

It rarely ends well when a buyer is unhappy with the sale and is refused a remedy.
However, The OP is entirely within their rights to set terms of sale as they see fit, including No Returns. Just as fair, the buyer is entirely within his rights to leave negative feedback expressing his negative experience. Ebay will not remove the feedback as it does not violate any policy and is the opinion of the buyer.
I would not have reported this buyer to eBay.

To be honest, your response sounds worse than the review. It makes it seem like you would be unreasonable if there was a problem with a potential future transaction.

Better communication probably could have avoided the negative feedback.Everyone makes mistakes on occasion.IF buyer has a problem they should let the seller know and lots of times negative feedback can be avoided if problem solved,The most frustrating thing is for a buyer to immediately leave negative feedback without ever even contacting seller usually out of anger.A good seller will resolve most problems to avoid negative feedback but they have to have the communication from the buyer.YES We all know their are exceptions to this .I AM pretty sure the only way ebay will remove feedback is if comments are rascist or malicious.
But in this case buyer did contact the seller and tell him the item ran small and did not fit. And the seller shut him down with no returns.

Why is it that sellers can get perfectly reasonable feedback removed from their profile when it references a case YET these sellers think they can say they reported the buyer to Ebay?
I think the buyer should be able to get your follow up removed. Regardless it made you look bad to future buyers IMHO. If I have a problem with your merchandise or something doesn't arrive you will report me to Ebay? Sorry I wouldn't be able to find the back button fast enough.

You didn't provide measurements, you refused the return and you don't understand why the buyer gave you bad feedback?

You lost me right there. Perhaps brush up on communications skills to avoid these situations.

I think the OP was typing in the heat of the moment and was upset.
That said, it seems OP blames the buyer because the buyer did not ask for measurements, when the OP should have had measurements in the listing anyway.
Feedback should not be used to berate a buyer. A professional response is needed so future potential buyers won't hit the back button because they see the seller is difficult.

Buyer just wanted the seller to pick up the return shipping, but it backfired....

I think eBay is trying to brainwash sellers into obsessing over feedback scores and similar "metrics" By keeping you worrkied they keep you under their thumb. Notice that they don't allow negative feedback for buyers? It's the sellers they want to control.
eBasy doesn't care if the buyer scams you, as long as they get to take their cut.

It always makes me chuckle OP is in the top 10% of ebay sellers and folks here will run always run them down its called leading from the rear...
