SURE, 25 NEGATIVES OUT OF 100 SEEMS LIKE A LOT, BUT HOW MANY FEEDBACK ENTRIES HAS HE RECEIVED AS A BUYER?  IF HE IS A “POWER BUYER,” HE MIGHT SELECTIVELY LEAVE FEEDBACK - ONLY WHEN A PURCHASE IS EXCEEDINGLY GOOD OR BAD.

I'm an actual Gambler. I play Texas Hold'em, Craps, Roulette, and Blackjack Regularly and I'm here at Ebay mitigating Risk. I just don't have that same feeling in the Casino even if they're using magnets and computerized card shufflers.

Follow your instincts.

Sometimes we "second guess" ourselves and therefore seek validation of our thoughts from others.

Somehow, if others feel the same way, it's more "okay" to do what needs to be done?

I suppose it is the social nature of our humanity that thirsts for this validation.

Please meditate upon it & do what you think is best.

At the end of the day, it's your life, your shop and your sales being gambled with.

For my nickel's worth, presented with the same scenario with the same info (as the OP described)

I would not accept offers from such a source.

One question, wondering how a blocked buyer was able to message you?

Best of luck with shop and sales.

If that was your decision, best to stick with it.

25% red card status among solicited feedback is very high. Very.

They either have the world's worst luck in selecting a seller or have a penchant for complaints.

You have a block list for a reason. I don’t know that I would block for that reason, but it’s one of the few things you don’t have to justify when you use it. You didn’t cancel an order, so I don’t see any issues with that.

But now you’re posting his full name on a public forum? You don’t see any problem with that? It’s against the community rules so it’ll be removed, but I have to wonder what type of person would think to do that in the first place.

It's not his real name. Ebay doesn't have a USER ID with Fernando Krueger. It's a mix of Freddy Krueger & Fernando Valunzuela

But i'm sure he's on TikTok somewhere.

Shame how the real Fernando Valunzuela passed, Alcohol & Cirhossis Gets them every time. I don't drink but when i do it's usually a 1-2 drink maximum.

Some eBay buyer years ago bought my diamond ring with a Buyitnow on a big expensive sale.

I checked up on him and saw he left 27 negatives on his first page and they were really awful rancid putrid vile negatives but I had made the sale and I had to ship.

What I did (I am telling on myself!) is be careful, respectful and sweet as pie in any communication with this scary buyer.
Bent over backwards to please him by email and you know what?

He left me a positive…
