The seller and buyer items seem to all have flaws and cracks in them. Don't work and or not as described as you can see the multiple cracks in the phone and chips at the bottom of some phones as well he describes the item as Excellent condition.... Did he obtain this item from a different source rather then his own pocket? Lets figure this out. This ebay seller/buyer recently bought a Dell Laptop 7000 2 in 1 7786 from me. The item was packaged nice and tight with multiple forms of protection including styrofoam, packing peanuts and bubble wrap. The item arrives at his destination and he says its broken. And he says that its obviously not the shipping companies fault but instantly mine. Now thinking to myself "with everything that I listed above being in same box as the item i shipped it surely should be protected". Considering I buy and sell items all the time that are glass. So he says that it is broken and shows me photos and with out being nice in anyway and demands a refund instantly. P.s. I have the messages. So then I think to my self no matter how it was packaged i put 4 fragile stickers all over the box to help insure its safety, Yet its still showed up broken huh?? So then i stumbled across his ebay and see that he also sells items.... Well okay nothing wrong with that. So i started looking at his items and see that he has multiple Iphones, Ipad's and highly desired electronics for sale. I looked at each post and read each one I realized even his descriptions don't match any of the photos of what he is selling. So is he doing something similar with the item that supposedly arrived broken when delivered to him. Trying to use a broken one he had to replace with the new one I had sold him. So I did some more digging. He Has a youtube okay great lets see what this guy is about. I see 5 videos and that he hasn't posted since 4/7/2020 okay being suspicious I look at his videos and it seems like he is filming on a laptop in his last 2 videos in april 2020. So sorry to say this all seems quite suspicious to me. So once again did he have the same kind of laptop and is he just trying to screw me over by saying mine is the broken one, when that is actually his? He also has everything shipped to his company which is a rehab for chronic pain. Sorry something very very fishy here do not trust this man at ALLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!! Photo buyer sent

So basically this guy is scamming you so he can get NEW STUFF to sell in his store. More and more people are running EBAY scams. Sorry that happened to you.

Sorry to hear this. Note that a VERY HIGH percentage of the scams are for high end electronics, laptops, phones etc. No way I would ever list those here. Too Risky.

On eBay, any buyer can steal any item from any seller at any time by filing a fraudulent dispute.
This has been true since 2008 when buyers were given the money back guarantee.
Unfortunately, there are buyers take advantage of this fact.

I cant read all the way through your post, but if the buyer opens a return, accept the return and provide a prepaid return label unless eBay does that for you. It is your only chance to get the product back. Sometimes, the buyer just drops it right there. Best of luck.

Yeah that's what i did i accepted the return and filed a complaint with fedex. Hopefully i don't get royally screwed to hard. Because if he does send it back before my fees are due I won't owe 171$ on a item that got destroyed or aka switched out for mine. So it just sucks thanks for the replies so far everyone I really am thinking on just making my on website I know html code and some java script. So I think that may happen here in the near future.

The money back guarantee should exist but they should really take away some of the refund and return policies because all of them are literally against the seller. The return and refund policies don't even add up with any of the shipping companies so you're almost always screwed. Even with your seller account saying no returns... They can still force you to... I don't see where much of this is legal I really don't. Its like you buying a brand new car from the dealership and not getting it fully covered they will only do so much for you if you crash it being a dumb ass.

And for the seller to have to pay for the return label ..... any other company i've ever ordered anything from makes the buyer pay for it unless they have a 48 hour or 30 day in store return policy.

Dude I never have issues with items that cost less then 80$ anything over and there is every issue possible with something for every 5 out of 10 people.

If you filed a claim with FedEx, the buyer can't ship the item back.
If they return it, it voids any insurance you had.
