It's getting tough selling smartphones on eBay. I've been battling scammers more frequently it seems.
Any ideas on how to respond to this guy? It’s an obvious scam. The LCD touch wasn’t responsive and he claims that it has a different IMEI than I provided for the phone. I know for a fact this phone was good. I bought it from a friend haha.
He also provided a picture showing that he replaced the screen already and it shows a different IMEI. I’m sure he’s planning on taking the cracked lcd and putting it on a blacklisted or internally damaged phone and shipping back. The buyer altered the phone and I was under the impression that if I sold a "for parts only" phone, if they take it apart or try to repair it, eBay will close the case in the buyers favor?
I also have reports saved that I ran on the correct IMEI number back on August 8th. The same IMEI that I listed in the ebay description.
