Getting Appropriate Alerts Setup

Before eBay and/or Shopify stopped their integration, the order from eBay would pass through to Shopify whenever an order was placed on eBay, and a ka-ching sound would alert me to an order on my phone. 

I didn't realize I had an order to fill because I only received an email, not the ka-ching alert on my phone.

How can I set up an alert that will ping me on my phone, alerting me to an order on eBay that is better than just an ordinary email?

I have an android...I installed the Ebay app thru Google Play. From there, go to your settings.  It will give you the options to add sounds, notifications, etc.  Not sure about the I phone.  Hopefully someone will reply with how to install on that device.

I have iPad with the eBay app and hear Cha-Ching when I get a sale. But even though I hear the sound I always check my seller hub for orders awaiting shipping throughout the day. Because sometimes the sound doesn’t occur.

Time ran out to add:

To install you need to go to the App Store to download once downloaded there’s nothing else to do.

Notifications are found under My eBay >>click Settings >>>Notifications then turn on or off any notification you want. 

The app for iPad/iPhone doesn’t have the option to add sounds it’s either notifications are on or they are off.

If you don't check Ebay solds at least once a day.........you are going to get bitten at some point.........  Depending on Cha Chings or emails is just gambling.........
