What strategies have you found most effective for increasing traffic to your eBay store?

--Offering same day / 24 hour shipping
--Offering 30 / 60 day paid returns.
--In general, doing everything that eBay recommends and studiously avoiding doing anything that could get me in even the slightest bit of trouble.
I have never used promoted listings or other gimmicks suggested by eBay.

Thanks for sharing your approach!
Offering same-day or 24-hour shipping and extended return policies definitely sets you apart and shows a commitment to customer satisfaction.
It’s great to hear that you’re following eBay’s best practices—staying within their guidelines is crucial for maintaining a good standing.

Thanks, but I do not need compliments.
You came here asking for advice, because you've had 18 sales in 12 years.
What do you think your selling problems are?
Or are you here hoping that other eBay sellers will visit your store and buy your items??

Sell really cool stuff.

It's going to be hard to get more traffic when you're selling the same stuff most Sri Lankans and Indians sell.
For example, cumin powder has 1,109 listings from India and 1,122 from Sri Lanka. Your product made of coconut shells is also a highly saturated market.

@irangana57-lkThis sums it up perfectly. Having items that people want (items that are currently selling well) that you can source easily.

Thanks for your Reply. I want to clarify that I started selling on eBay just three months ago, which is why I’m seeking advice to improve my sales.

Thank you for pointing that out. I understand that the market is quite saturated for products like cumin powder and coconut shell items. I’m looking for ways to differentiate my offerings and stand out among the competition.
If you have any specific strategies or suggestions for gaining visibility in such a crowded market, I’d love to hear them.

IMO you have too few items to be able to use an Ebay store effectively.
It would not surprise me if your store followers were all purchasers of your auctions which failed to make any money. They would like to help you lose more money.
Exporting commodity foodstuffs to the US is unlikely to be a successful Ebay business.
