Geez, How Desperate Are We?

Got this "offer" on my other account which I have bought several things on but have been unsuccessful yet getting any sales.  I suppose they "targeted" this one well, but they are going to give me essentially a $25 eBay Bucks gift certificate if I manage to sell at least one thing for $5 or more?   Seriously?

Those coupons have short expirations and a decent percentage of people who get them won't use them before they expire. Those who do use the coupon are purchasing items on eBay, thus more sales.

The promotion encourages people to list more items to increase the chances of sales. I'd wager eBay still comes out ahead with a promotion like that.

Here's the fine print: https://pages.ebay.com/promo/2018/0910/coupon25.html

Meanwhile, trying to wrack my brain to think of what I could list for five bucks that would sell, so I can get 25 bucks back...  😉

Try selling $10 for $5.

Well, maybe they really do want more consumer/small sellers!

Very very grateful for that extra PUSH to buy or to have a sale. Bravo Ebay.
