When I click "Summary" I like the Classic page layout because EVERYTHING I want to see or check is right there. I want to see the total Fees owed at the time I check Summary. And oh wow, over on the left is a list of other things I can do if I want, like a link to PayPal, etc. Here's what it looks like:
But now, when I click Summary I get another one of those horrible page layouts that has no information on it NOR a link to Summary which is what I wanted in the first place. I have NOT clicked any of the links on this new page, I just click the Return to Classic page layout and do what I want to do. In looking at the links for some strange reason I don't see any for Summary??? I am a bit weary of these needless changes ...

Mr, when I click Summary I'm getting neither of those versions. I get my Watch List - AND THAT'S IT.
I do not use Summary, do not see the need to check my Watch List.
Sorry your accustomed click got weird on ya. 😞

You know what I AM getting, only slightly related, is the displayed pages change size when I go from page to page on eBay. I will accept fault if someone can tell me it's my doing (somehow) but I surely don't see how.
It does not ever happen at other multiple-page sites I visit daily.
I'll be on My EBay page, click Sell and all font is tiny, click Orders and font is Medium, travel through several different pages and nothing changes, then try to sort a page of potential purchases and BooM all font is small again.
Interesting. Not so much.

I've noticed this for the past couple of weeks. The "seller account" link takes you to the summary page you're looking for. But I agree, it's another useless change that just makes things more difficult for sellers. It's like they don't even have a clue what really needs improving.

I can get to this bottom pic/page if I click the account settings top right under the logout option. but if I click the summary option under my ebay it takes me to watched items … like some of the others.
this bottom pic/page is basically worthless. I have been seeing it for several weeks or so, but most of the links run to deadends and broken links ...
ebay should definitely quit breaking good pages and links … and focus instead on fixing problems with their coding ...

Ditto - same experience here.
It wouldn't be so bad if the changes were actually for the better but in all cases, for me anyway, they've been worse (feedback change, watch list change, account page, etc.). There's too much white space and faint type (50% black and a thin type style?), so it's not possible any more to just see pertinent information AT A GLANCE and without a lot of unnecessary scrolling. Maybe the "coders" are all young and don't have cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, or other vision problems, but it's getting ridiculous.
Consistency would be a plus too. One feedback page will be one way, and another feedback page is the other way, etc. On my buying ID, suddenly I'm almost hitting the big blue return button instead of the little feedback link underneath it because at some point that layout has been changed too. It used to be so much easier to get something done.
Meanwhile, I'd just like a simple fix like having my store logo appear on the individual item pages like it's supposed to instead of those stupid generic gray picture boxes.

These new types of pages are all over the internet now. Lots of blank white spaces. I don't really know why because frankly it looks stupid and is a waste of good page space.
But whatever...it's not my website to ruin.

I use the Classic My eBay Selling page and if I hover my cursor over the Account tab the first choice is my first picture, "Summary". EVERYTHING I need to check is right there either shown or a link. NO scrolling. I also use Seller Hub because it has some (emphasize "some") features I like and prefer but for just checking eBay the Classic pages have everything one needs.
There is no reason to have to click several times just to get what one click currently gets me. I agree with @southern*sweet*tea , the new page designs are all over the place ... apparently they are more user friendly for smart phones but I also agree that the changes are no necessary.

"Stupid" is being polite and I respect that but in the page design area of eBay it's way beyond stupid ...

You hit the nail on the head...all of these new redesigns are geared for smartphones...ugh...
You can tell because of all of the white backdrops to them which is more helpful when one is one a phone. It tends to agree with smartphones b/c their screens are so small so they are limited in what they show at a time w/o having to zoom in & out...which leads to more clickity clicks for us on laptops...and of course having to get the bugs out of the system b/c it's a new design...
Frankly, I don't know how sellers do it...the ones who actually use smart phones to list and to their business on eBay. I can understand the average buyer...yeah...okay...but us larger volume buyers and sellers...I don't know how they do it....
...and yes...I agree...it is unappealing from a laptop POV. I know that they are going to keep trending this way. i have as very bad feeling that eventually ALL of our views will be in this type of format.
My bidding page just turned into this style...white backdrop...etc...and again, when I look at it, I can see how this format would work more for smart phones...are we still able to save the old formats? I am going to do so to all of my relevant pages that I use.
I hope that they can find a medium that would work for us larger buyers and the medium/large volume sellers too...who cannot use a phone to do business...it is too inefficient.
...sigh...

@mr_lincoln- I posted regarding this new page about a month ago as I started seeing it the same time they switched to the new FB page. If you click on "seller account" under the selling heading it will take you to the summary page.
I added the link to my Seller Hub shortcuts so I can bypass the new page entirely. Like you, I prefer to see the summary when I go to my seller account page.

...don't you worry...it is "coming soon to a theater near you"... (sarcasm)
Eventually, all of our pages are going to have this basic format, as @southern*sweet*tea says with "Lots of blank white spaces." b/c that is what works on these smart phone screens...this is what they are gearing these pages/website (long term) for...

I understand that they want the buyer-facing side to be more mobile friendly- and that they are making the seller-facing side more mobile friendly for consistency, however most seller activity is performed on full size laptops and desktops. It would be great if they could use slightly less white space on the seller pages to make it easier on the eyes. They could keep the same mobile layouts but integrate more light gray backgrounds or something similar.
