Funds on Hold.

My funds are on hold until eBay see feedback from the buyer,but they are not responding!…Item has been collected in person and QR code scanned…Anything I can do about this?

No. you can't force the buyer to leave feedback. Don't pester for feedback.

The funds will be released without feedback, but it will take a bit longer.

     EBay does not hold funds waiting on buyer feedback. If they did a lot of sellers would have a LOT of money on hold since buyer feedback is probably less than 50%, if that. There is something else taking place here. How long has it been since the buyer picked up with item and you uploaded the QR code? How do you have your funding receipt preferences setup on your account are you getting funding daily or weekly?

You could have asked for cash on collection it's allowed on ebay UK.

If the buyer doesn't leave feedback, it might be 21 days before the funds are released.

You are a brand new seller.  In the US, you would typically have a 21 day hold due to new Seller status, etc.  Feedback would not come into play.  Is that a UK requirement?

Madison is correct - cash at time of delivery would have been the way to go!

ebay UK will release funds sooner if feedback is left.

Although, that does depend on the item price, and seller standing.

The ops bike wasn't cheap, and the op is a new seller, so it's possible ebay wouldn't release the funds even after feedback.

The op does have proof of pick up though, so that might help.

I contacted eBay twice now and both times they have said the same(feedback from seller and we will release funds!)…I have my account set up on daily and the it was 9.30pm yesterday evening when it was collected?….

New to it all and didn’t realise cash on collection was an option…my bad!…Just think it’s crazy that they have his funds….It’s been collected…QR code scanned etc and the reason it’s not being released is there is no feedback!…Not happy👎🏽

If it is just picked up, it is the weekend here.  Funds would not disburse over the weekend on daily ACH.  Monday at earliest/Tuesday more probable.

So eBay UK requires that FB be left before funds are released?

Or do funds just get released faster if there is feedback?

And wouldn't the QR code prove that the buyer has the item?

I’m guessing that would be the case,and the buyer was going out on the bike today so I’ve left a message for him to leave feedback which I’m sure he will.

Funds can be released within 24 hours if feedback is left.

Otherwise, if no feedback is left, it could be 21 days.

The op has spoke to ebay, and it doesn't look like ebay are going to release the funds based on the QR code.

It’s seems that way especially due to me being a new seller I’m guessing?

Thats my point exactly with the QR code being scanned,the buyer was beyond happy with the sale otherwise he wouldn’t have taken it!…Just seems a grey area IMO?

If the buyer doesn't leave feedback don't keep asking for it because the buyer might leave bad feedback. I've seen it happen many times.

You are in MP on daily payout, correct (as you stated up thread) ?

We do not get ACH payouts in the US on the weekends.  Maybe UK is different?  My Friday pending would payout on Tuesday on daily typically.
