Funds from a item I sold. Why I can not use it toward a purchase?

In the past I would sell something and the funds would pile up . If I wanted to move it to my bank later on it was good. If I wanted to buy an item I can use my STASH money in my Ebay account. Now Ebay wants to move it out to your bank automatically. I don't want to do this, I want to shop and Use my money I made selling.....I don't like all these transaction in and out my bank account.

How do I use my available funds to shop?

Managed Payments does not provide "balance accounts" in the same way PayPal did.

You cannot use your available funds to shop. You must wait for them to be deposited in your bank account, and transfer them to the funding source you use for purchases (or connect the funding source you use for purchases to that bank account).

Are you sure you want to spend the money right away? There's no way I would be spending the money before 30 days unless I could afford to refund out of my pocket. You never know if someone is going to request a refund. Even if  they  leave positive feedback  you're still on the hook. They can break it a week later and want a refund.

I am very critical of many decisions that Ebay makes, but I must say that MP has worked flawlessly for me, but it is certainly not designed for making payments, it is just a processor.  To lessen the number of transactions in and out of your account you can select weekly deposits.  As for purchasing items on Ebay I still use my Paypal account for all purchases.  Paypal is far more than just a processor and is far better suited for making purchases.  I use a dedicated bank account that I use specifically for both Ebay and Paypal so it is easy to transfer money coming in from EBay's MP to my Paypal account where I always keep a few hundred dollars on tap for purchases.

Before Managed Payments, you never had money in your Ebay account, it was in your Pay Pal account.

Pay Pal was set up like a wallet, Managed Payments is not.

Have a great day.
