Freight forward tracking

Hello,

I was just curious. I tend to look at tracking of items sometimes I mailed. And I am waiting for an INR to pop up on this one. Buyer is in Armenia. Buy asked for a discount and I ignored it. Buyer still bought items but played the sneaky "freight forward" for a letter. I did the tracking on this one just in case. I usually don't for something low priced.

I mailed a letter with tracking to Wilmington, Delaware on Oct.  10th. It arrived Oct 16th. in Delaware.

I thought eBay would show it has been delivered as such to the address and that is the end on it.

It's not showing that. Is that normal?

It states :"In transit to next facility...arriving late" last update Oct 20th. Left Delaware.

Just wondering why there is tracking going on to Armenia when tracking is only for domestic. Strange?

Did it have regular USPS tracking?  If so, check the USPS website and expand the details.  If you used that eBay envelope thing with EUS tracking or some such, it may never show delivered anyway ever.

Perhaps I am confused, or confusing you....Did you pay for GROUND ADVANTAGE shipping?  (changed its name from 1st class package).  Did you use a Priority Mail flat rate envelope?   

I never heard of being able to get a label with tracking for a regular white envelope like you use to send a letter or check in the mail. 

What was the tracking number?  It won't show your personal information.

It is certified envelope which has tracking.

I had to visit the post office today just now.  Saids I could call this distribution center...which is silly...and to claim insurance...but they have no idea what happened...the envelope is a little larger than a standard envelope. 

My concern is an IRN by buyer and item with tracking not showing delivered.

Am I backed by eBay showing tracking but missing in action?

I would file a "missing mail search" request through the USPS.com site. This sometimes gets it moving. I have also had issues with the USPS scanning items delivering to these freight forwarders. The lazy USPS workers don't want to scan 500 packages they are unloading at the place and just dump them off.....that practice needs to STOP.

Thank you.  That is not a plain old 'ordinary' envelope.  My fault I kept thinking of those snail mail things that my bills arrive in...LOL.   Certified mail  did not used to show tracking online for these, so that is an improvement that it does now.  I think it is just on the slow side.

Was just at the USPS post office...had 2 clerks helping me.

I was told I could call this distribution center. USPS can't do anything. File for insurance...nope...it just an envelope with stamps.

Its a big mystery.

I am only wondering about if buyer requests a refund and does eBay has my back.

How is using a freight forwarder "sneaky"?

If the buyer request a refund, be sure to contact ebay with a response. I had a priority mail package get lost in the mail and buyer ask ebay for help. He was given a refund. I thought that is ok but I didn't know I needed to do anything and then I got a defect.

Its a letter envelope...not a package.

I sent a standard envelope awhile back to another country and buyer complained where is my envelope...it had no tracking...It wasn't that great of value to use tracking. So it didn't bother me to refund.

And now using tracking with another envelope...not a package...currently in limbo.

I read some of the feedback of the sellers on this buyer...and a lot have cancelled the sales...due to the address....and the buyer left negative feedbacks due to cancelled sales.

I just want to know does eBuy have my back if I have tracking...but showing not delivered and still going somewhere.
