Hello,
I am new to selling, so I am still learning lots.
I recently sold a vinyl record, which was worth more than most of the items I typically sell. I was preparing the item when I noticed an odd address that did not match the seller's info. I looked up the company name and it is a forwarding freight company in New Castle, Delaware, and has mostly terrible google reviews. I was not able to find out much about the company otherwise. The item is also addressed to a specific person (not the buyer,) who happens to have the name of a VERY famous foreign political figure.
The seller has thousands of reviews, but they are all only from the last month. They joined ebay 11/22.
I know plenty of people have success with freight forwarders, but I am wary of this instance. It feels sketchy, but perhaps I am being paranoid.
Any advice or thoughts?

I have used that address for mailing also. Nothing out of the ordinary. Should have a number after the name on the address. You're only liable for mailing to that address with tracking. Just keep on eye on any emails from the buyer. The item sometimes takes a little longer to get to the buyer. Sometimes a few packages will pile up before it gets shipped out to it's destination.

Never had any problems with freight forwarders. However, because you are selling a record which is subject to damage....be sure to package extremely well and get insurance to cover any damage claims.
