I got extra free listings of 200 and then my normal 50 free on April 1, 2020. My items that are on auction are suppose to relist 8 times free but are being charged one of my free listing. This is taking away from me being able to put new items on. It it keeps doing this it will eventually use up what remaining of the 200 and my 50. I have alot of items on auction. I am not going to be able to put my new items on for fear that it will start charging me a listing fee for each auction that renews each week. Can't call and talk to anyone at eBay due to the COVID-19, but have emailed them. I was wondering if anyone else was having the same problems.
Yes had the same problem. If the auctions were put up before the 200 free promo, they will relist but take one of your 200. I just went & clicked on the line that let me end the automatic relist for all those. Lost just 2 before I realized what they were doing. Felt like a sneaky trick! Who knew we had to get a lawyer to truly understand all the fine print on their promo offers!
eBay tried to do a good thing, but as sometimes happens, the IT folks that do the coding probably did not see this coming, so it does not work out well for those with multiple, "relist many times", auctions☹️
That is exactly what one response was for me. Never has been like that on auctions before. I got a response of how to turn off auto relist on an auction. I told them that wasn't the issue and asked them to look and read the previous emails attached to my replies so they will know what is going on. I listed 13 new auction items and then 37 auctions auto relisted as usual and instead of taking 13 of my available listings they took 50. I am keeping copy of all sent and received responses.
It's happening to me too. I sent a bunch of emails to ebay this weekend. Most of the answers didn't even address my issue. Finally, I was told it was happening to other people too, but I've not heard if it's resolved. I'm almost out of those Free 200. Is it going to use the monthly 50 too? I don't want to cancel all my listings, but don't want to be charged for them to relist either.
