Free Auto Relisting

I've recently lost the option of the automatic relist function and through several searches into info on this, I'm still confused as to why. It seems the terms of this have been changed several times, and according to chat with support a very recent change occurred and caused several sellers to lose this feature.

This is already hurting my sales, and my active listing count has dropped significantly. In my experience I have much better success selling lower value items as auction style listings, they pretty much would always sell within the first 2-3 times listed. I've literally had 2 of the exact same card listed in equal comparable condition many times and the auction style listing will sell for more than the fixed price listing, sometimes for up to twice as much.

Now my listing count is down nearly 30% from my normal active listing count, and the unsold/ended tab in sellers hub is basically useless unless you are searching listings ended in the last 24 hours. I was getting ready to upgrade my store again, but even with 500 monthly free auction style listings, I'll be out of free listings in a week every month. It's just not going to be possible to list items for .99c at all, and even items for $1.99 now are basically going to cost too much in fees to list once the free listings are used up.

I'm planning to move most of the lower value listings to fixed price style, but in my personal experience they just don't sell as well as auction style ones do. It just doesn't make sense to me for eBay to make changes like this that essentially is going to cost them money in the long run. I likely will sell less, and I'm not going to pay the insertion fees causing me to end up with an overall end fee of 35-85% of the sale. If I list a .99c card, it will cost me approximately .83c in fees leaving me with a whopping .16c from the final sale.

Does anyone have any advice on solutions for this issue? Or do I basically do eBay actively for the first week each month then just wait the next few weeks and hope for fixed priced sales?

Free Auto Relisting

Looks like the free auto listing feature is yet something else Ebay has taken away from us. I have been looking into other venues for selling. When I speak to one of the reps at Ebay, I get a different story every time. So unorganized and the "I don't care" mentality this company has is driving away top sellers. I needed the free listing feature and with it gone, my sales are down. I refuse to pay listing fees for low priced items. Their increased fees has given them the nickname "Feebay".

Free Auto Relisting

Ebay's policy page on relisting items says...

"Keep in mind that the automatic relist option is only available on listings created by new and occasional sellers. The option will not show for other sellers."
