Fraudulent selling practaces

I have reported this seller several times to eBay administrators. They seem to have done little to stop her. She lists herself as an American seller but she uses the same fraudulent sales practices as some other Chinese sellers who sell the exact same items she sells.

She has been violating eBay rules and US LAW by listing the same exact item 3 to 5 times at the same time for different prices. These are usually petrified wood or other stone items. She will show pictures of these items, each picture taken at different angles or on different sides. She is trying to sell each item more than once at different prices. All her items are multiple listings and she has many items listed. This is FRAUD. it is ILLEGAL in this Country and should be stopped because it will hurt eBay's reputation. All sellers who engage in this type of Fraud should be removed from the eBay site. Most are Chinese based but some work inside the USA and get their merch. from China. This is organized crime. It is being done by SEVERAL SELLERS from the SAME COUNTRY.

Just curious.

What US law says you can't have duplicate listings on ebay?

You report and walk away. Only if MANY other buyers 'report' the seller does anything happen.

There isn't even an eBay policy if the items are not complete and total duplicates.

People who are selling fossils or minerals will have many different but very similar samples that are not duplicates.

@leehurst

You cannot police the world, every seller has a report button. If you feel that a particular Chinese seller is in violation with ebays rules then report.

     You cannot name & shame a seller on this forum also.

Managed to grab the seller name before it was removed and looked at their listings.....I did not find duplicates, I found lots of SIMILAR samples of crystals etc but they are NOT duplicates, the ones that are very similar are at different prices because they are different weights and in any event minerals/crystals of this type are natural items which are never exact duplicates.

That seller clearly shows that they are registered in China and they clearly indicate that they are shipping from China.

The OP must have a vivid imagination to make the claims they are accusing this seller of.
