Fraudulent Return

Well, it happened.

A buyer messaged me last week and told me I had sent her the wrong plates. A picture was attached to the message, but they weren't the plates I sent her.

I messaged her and told her I didn't recognize the plates in the picture and that I would look at them upon their return. The plates have never been in my inventory and I have never listed them.

Today I got the return request. If this buyer sends the plates that were in the picture I will file a police report, ic3, and a mail fraud report with USPS.

I'm assuming that the return will be closed in the buyers favor once tracking shows a package was delivered and that I will need to go through the appeals process.

Does anybody have any advice for me on how to handle this?

Fraudulent Return

Message the buyer to make sure they didn't mix up your shipment with another seller's.

Fraudulent Return

I would do what wastingtime101 said, plus send her the item number and photo of what she did purchase from you.
