I know this may be a stupid question and may have been answered - but here goes. What is the threshold to receive a 1099 form to include with my taxes and when should I have received it?

Been answered in 100's of postings but here goes. The following was from a seller announcement released back in December The one thing it fails to mention for the 2021 tax year is the states that have already established lower reporting thresholds. I believe you are in Arizona and they were not on the list of states with lower requirements for 2021. If you were going to get a 1099 you should have it by now. EBay was required to have them completed by 31 January. Of course it takes time for them to get through the mail system but it should have also been available online.

Please note: a number of sellers who reside in states with additional reporting requirements have received a 1099-K, even if they have not met the 200/$20,000 threshold.
- Arkansas - $2,500 in gross payments with no threshold on the number of transactions
- District of Columbia - $600 in gross payments with no threshold on the number of transactions
- Illinois - $1,000 in gross payments and a minimum of 4 transactions
- Maryland - $600 in gross payments with no threshold on the number of transactions
- Massachusetts - $600 in gross payments with no threshold on the number of transactions
- Mississippi - $600 in gross payments with no threshold on the number of transactions
- New Jersey - $1,000 in gross payments with no threshold on the number of transactions
- Virginia - $600 in gross payments with no threshold on the number of transactions
- Vermont - $600 in gross payments with no threshold on the number of transactions

You do, however, have to pay state and federal taxes whether eBay sends you something or not.

You still have to report any income on your state and federal tax forms; however, that does not necessarily mean you will ultimately end up having to pay taxes on that income.
Whether you actually owe any taxes on your eBay income will depend on a number of factors, including what you can deduct for expenses, etc.
Just glancing at your sold listings on this account since November, it doesn't appear as though you'd come close to the $20,000/200 transaction threshold for receiving a 1099-K from eBay for your 2021 selling activity. If you had more robust sales earlier in the year or have multiple selling accounts that would bring you to that threshold, that's another story.
