First time in three years.

Wow, the first time in three years my fees are $0.00,  I'm done and moving on.  No sales in three months, totally ridiculous.  If eBay changes I may come back but with all the **bleep** with the updates enough is enough, I don't need the hassle.

I have to agree.  

I created 100 new listings over the long weekend, and listed them on Jan 1.

I had 10 sales in the first 24 hours.

You are a top-rated seller who has been on ebay for a long time. I am not familiar with the items you are selling (haven't a clue what they are used for), but you were making consistent sales all along. This doesn't sound like a vendor who doesn't know what he is doing, and obviously the items were in demand. So i find your story of concern to every small seller. Could it be the market for your widgets is drying up for some reason? What is your take on what's happening here?

I do know that the more you list, the better your sales. With only 8 listings, I would think your placement in Search needed attention. The more sales I make, the higher my sell-thru rate, gives me a boost in Search. That cycle can become a self-fulfilling prophecy. The better my sales, the more sales I make. When i make fewer sales, the lower i drop in Search, the less chance of making a sale.

eBay charges me between 10% and 15% consistantly so if my bill for eBay was $5000 I would be happier then if it was $0 but, hey, that's just me.

Or being on Ebay 20 years with only a 277 feedback rating? Maybe list more popular items.
