Please try to do some research on your own. This information is very easy to find on different help pages:
1. You can pay extra to put ONE item in two categories. If it sells, you pay TWO final value fees.
2. If you have many of the same item, you create one multiple item item listings. The items have to be THE SAME with just a little difference. For example: sweater- red, yellow, green. Basket - small or large.
Some items will have more than one variation. For example, clothing has both color and size to choose from, like sweater: Red Large.

There are essentially two elements to determining whether you will be successful on eBay or not. The first is product selection. You need to pick the right item to sell. You can be the greatest marketer in the world, but if nobody wants your product, it’s not going to sell.
Secondly, is building up your eBay account. eBay decides who shows up on the front page based on a number of factors. One of the heaviest factors is your seller rank and seller metrics. This is why it’s so difficult for new sellers to "break in" to eBay, so to speak. When you first start out, eBay doesn’t show your items highly in search, which in turn means your items don’t sell.
I can answer this. First, you need to have a good reputation on eBay, and your feedback must be at least 98.8% positive.
Next, you need to research your competition. What title are they using and which title sold last week on the item you wish to sell?
Then try to do better in terms of SEO. You’re optimizing for eBay search. As a result, the main and sub-keywords must be naturally repeated in the title, description, and image.
Overall, you need to provide good customer service support as well.
Good luck!

Help yourself by reading the help files available to you on eBay. It appears that a LOT of Sri Lankan sellers do not know how to search and read those files.

@anytime-buys-official I can answer this. First, you need to have a good reputation on eBay, and your feedback must be at least 98.8% positive.
100% Positive for a small time seller is a must - I would never buy from a seller with 98.8 unless they were a shooting star seller.
To start:
You need to register as a business with your government so you are abiding by their regulations of not allowing individuals to accept foreign funds. You then register as a business with Payoneer and then eBay.
To succeed:
All new Sri Lankan sellers need to research everything they can about ALL area’s of eBay not just Selling
.
It is not just a matter of list, sell, send - you need to learn what to do when a customer wants to return an item, (and if the seller is drop shipping this can be a headache) and what to do if a customer claims an item is not received - again a drop shippers nightmare.
I have a read a number of posts where the new seller has no idea and is getting hit with negative feedback and unresolved cases being handled by eBay (which dings a sellers account) because they do not know the processes to avoid this.
Read, read, and read some more is the only way new sellers will survive the first month.

You should register for EBAY online SELLER SCHOOL (it is free). Do Google search for EBAY SELLER SCHOOL to enroll. This will teach you everything you need to know about selling on EBAY.
Yes, you can put "different variations" in ONE listing. Create a brand new listing (leave everything blank) and then click CREATE VARIATIONS (different size, color, style). AFTER you create your variations you fill in "title line, item specifics and description".
But if you are a brand new seller I don't know if you will be allowed to sale "multiple variations".

If you want to start selling on eBay, you have to gain positive feedback. Not from buying, but from selling. List a lot of items at a time. That can help. The link I showed is just the basics of selling.

This is incorrect information.
Feed Back is feed back and it is NOT required from buying or selling to sell.
Feed back from buying can make a new seller look more reputable especially since buyers can not received negative FB and always have 100%.
The more listings a seller has the better chance of selling BUT new sellers will be limited in listings until they prove themselves to eBay.

Well, yes, feedback is not required to sell. Feedback is just helpful and could (possibly) make you more/less sales.

You will learn by doing. You will learn by making mistakes. You will not learn by just being given the answers.
