Well I had my first INR claim recently. I am a new seller, only been about 4 months worth of selling, sold over 100 items, 100% positive feedback, I take pride in being honest and shipping items fast, securely, and safe. I always communicate with customers immediately after they purchase an item and thank them, and let them know ill ship the item immediately. So anyways some dude ordered a couple cards from me, I shipped them in an ebay standard envelope. Which uses easyship tracking. Tracking shows on the order etc. So about 10 days after it said delivered the dude claims INR. I messaged him, gave him 2 websites that showed tracking 17track.net, and parcelsapp.com. I also uploaded tracking within the claim. Ebay sided with him. I appealed. Ebay still sided with him saying I didn't upload tracking in time before the case was closed. Which is **bleep** because the fn tracking shows on the transaction details from the very beginning. All Ebay had to do was look at the details and see the tracking showing delivered. So I called Ebay and someone looked at the case and said Ebay should side with me since it shows delivered. I called them before I received the message saying I lost the appeal. I appealed through an Ebay message and lost this morning, but called yesterday afternoon and they said they'll be calling me within 72 hrs. So maybe there's still hope..idk tho this whole process seems like **bleep** to me. I told the buyer to contact his local usps and he said he can't because he's not even in the same country. It was delivered to an address in Miami FL and the dude ain't even in Miami. How tf does he even know if it was delivered? He said it was a couriers address or some sh*t. Idk its hard to understand his broken English. I'm probable being scammed, Ebay sided with the scammer, im out the item and the refund. It wasn't much but thats not the point. I have an item worth over 1000$ what the f happens if some scamming bast@rd wants to claim INR with an expensive item and Ebay sides with them even after tracking is there and the buyer seems sketchy? I'm out 1000$ and the item? I just don't know and this is a bad experience. After having lots of success and enjoyment, 100% positive feedback on ebay, I now have concerns about how much Ebay actually cares about sellers and worried about all the dishonest pieces of trash out there that can scam all day long on ebay buy just claiming INR then keeping the item and getting a refund. Ebay needs to do something about this Now!
Well that was my rant and first post on here....
Thanks for listening...

It's one of the most common complaints about INRs, outside of scammy buyers and shipper foul-ups of course. Having to upload tracking eBay already has, because shipping was purchased through eBay. I think it's to make the seller actually respond somehow, but it's still asinine.

More likley no way to program such, and or the lack of an employee that can.

Correct, I just had one recently and that is what I had to do. They have a response option in the case form that is specifically for uploading tracking.

Yep. I could of sworn i uploaded tracking through that response option in the form. Perhaps it was too late.. No biggie, I won't let it happen again!!

Now you know for the next time! And good on you for taking it in stride, we all mess up sometimes even when we think we know what we're doing.

It would require someone with a brain to actually read, so... yeah. This is eBay, 'nuff said.
