Final payout no matching "order earnings"

So I sold a sports card for 100 dollars , after all the sales tax and selling cost it came out to 71 dollars which is what I expected but when I went to see the payout after it was delivered on Dec 26th I got a email saying 29 dollars was sent to my bank account. The Payout ID matches and everything so where could other 42 dollars go?

In Seller Hub under Payments, check Transactions and see if there is more detail on a payment hold or fees.

Did you promote the listing? They charge fees for that depending on what typeof promotion was selected.

Did you use promoted listings?

Go to this page:

https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/payouts

Click the "Payout ID" number (linked)

it will display the details of the 29.00 payout...

also, make sure that payout is for that transaction...remember, payouts can be multiple transactions, meaning more than one credit or debit can be included in the 'payout' for an unrelated sale...

Could also be a debt from prior sale... I know someone that happened to.  Oh she was mad enough to chew steel and OK-Rappin' car rims LOL.

I forget the details but she'd owned like $75 clamstu's and sold something for like $125 only to find enough in her Christmas stocking to purchase an overcooked limp chicken.

If you used promoted listings you may have had your percentage high enough to generate a $42.00 fee.
