Final fees

The final value fees for sports memorabilia is to high a lot of the products we get from the distributors we pay almost retail for so if we buy a box of cards for $1800 and they are selling for $1900 we loose over $100 I don’t understand why the fees are so high on cards that are over 1k plz tell me why I should sell high valued cards on eBay and pay 10-13% when I can send it to an auction house and they don’t charge me nothing goldin auctions is selling 40-60 million in each auction on a handful of things eBay is to greedy when it comes to fees for high priced cars eBay doesn’t charge people 10-13% of the final sale price when they sell a car or truck I will continue to list my lower priced stuff on eBay but until it changes the final value fees for higher end cards I’ll just send them to goldin or Leland’s I don’t understand why eBay won’t start lowering the fees the higher price a card goes like starting at 1k or something

If you think you can get a better deal from an Auction house, and are willing to use one, I would suggest you do that.

Fee's are not coming down.

Wow. Long run on sentences with no punctuation are nearly impossible to read. Can you make that something everyone can understand?

One of the most important skills required to be successful on eBay is identify profitable products and avoid unprofitable products.

It looks like you have just identified an unprofitable product.

Good luck with that. My guess is "if" and "when" you decide to actually try it, you will be returning to Ebay. Why would you be purchasing boxes of cards for $100 more than you know you can get selling them on Ebay. Maybe rethink your strategy?

If I were going to sell an item for $1900, I'd pay no more than $2-300 for it.  I like profit.  Paying $1800 to make less than $100 profit is far too risky and a fool's game no matter where you play the game at.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

Some things are simply not worth trying to resell. It sounds like these cards are one of them.

If you can not raise the bridge lower the river.

Why are you buying something for $1800 if you know in advance (you did know in advance didn't you?) that they were only worth $1900. Seems to me the problem is with your buying habits, not your FVF.
