Is there a way to avoid the PayPal fee? I have a buyer who wants to purchase an item and so I sent an invoice to them, but I see a fee for PayPal and a fee from ebay for final value fee. How do I avoid the PayPal fee?

So there will always be a PayPal fee? Earlier when I sold an iPad, the person paid through ebay and I received the money directly into my bank account. couldn't that work for this situation as well?

If someone is asking for your PayPal address they are trying to scam you.
If you received a payment to your bank account that means that your are in Managed payments and will not be receiving payments to your PayPal account anymore.

If you're just migrating into MP, you may have sold an item that was listed when you accepted PayPal. It'll be the old rules for the old listing.

Why are you sending them a PP invoice???? If it was listed on Ebay, there should be no reason to send such.
Be very careful you aren't taking a sale off ebay.........it could get you kicked off the site........... and if the buyer is trying to scam you, you could lose the $ and the item..........

You're in managed payments. You have no business taking a direct Paypal payment from anyone. The buyer can pay directly through Ebay with Paypal.
If you sent someone a Paypal invoice, the next step is a very real looking, fake Paypal payment email.
They talked you into sending an invoice, now they think you're naive/stupid enough to not log in to check your Paypal account before you ship.
You are about to be robbed.

The buyer needs to pay through the Ebay listing, so there would be no Pay Pal fee, since you're in MP.
If they are trying to get you to send them a Pay Pal invoice, they are trying to scam you and you would be taking the transaction off of Ebay.

You cannot send a PayPal invoice for something sold on eBay. Nonetheless, on PayPal you pay the sellers fees as well. If you are trying to take a sale off eBay it's a policy violation. You cannot ask anyone for a bank transfer. You need to be careful what you are doing as it seems you are attempting fee avoidance. Time to read eBay's policies for sellers so that you are in compliance.

Well you are attempting to violate a few policies on Ebay. If you want to sell here for long, you need to learn to sell within the rules of the site you are selling on or your time here will be VERY short.
You don't have PP fees at all as a seller. You are in MP.
Why did you send a PP invoice to a buyer? You should be invoicing through Ebay.
Just a question for you. Why would you want to use PP as your money processor by invoicing your buyer to pay via PP but then not want to pay PP for their services rendered? They gave you a service but you want to find a way to get it for free??
This time you only have the PP fee because you handled this transaction incorrectly and outside the way it should have been handled. You may want to rethink what you are doing here before you cause yourself issues with Ebay that you can't get out of.
