Why is it eBay keeps suspending my accounting? No joke, they just completed a 5 day review in which they put my payouts on hold. They cleared me as I already had my items sold/shipped/and majority received. Granted I am a bigger ticket item seller, but they literally just completed a review. Now, two days later they suspended my payouts again pending another review. I haven’t even sold anything since the last review. It sucks they can mess with my money like this all items have been received already.

also, they’re only supposed to charge me 5% in fees, but they’ve been charging me 12.9%. They say I am a below standard seller due to them canceling items that I had for sale with active bids during the last review. They canceled 6 items saying they were out of stock. I called them to get this fixed, spoke to an American who agreed with me saying he can clearly see it is their fault. So he sent a ticket in. I received an email later on that day claiming that it is valid for me being below standard due to me canceling those active auctions. They never read or understand anything properly. The only thing I am “rest assured”!is that whenever I am forced to call customer service my account will be suspended by the end of the day. It’s like I’m being discriminated on for being successful. I’ve been calling like 15 times a day, people keep hanging up on me and lying saying I’m being unprofessional Z however, they won’t allow me access to my funds and they’re the ones being rude and unprofessional! They literally just reviewed me. When is it going to end? I don’t see how they can afford to lose a seller like me. I cleared $12k in a week, but I’ve been suspended twice for doing it.. when all items have already been received. I literally overnight anything that sells over $100. Out of my own pocket but they still suspended me. There’s no way to end it early either, they all just tell me to wait patiently. Two times in a row so far… so unfair

@iluvmysportscards

Wow - an $8400 card up for sale.

As a "new" seller, most have listing limits and I am an older seller and I am pretty sure I would have a payout hold on an $8400 card if it sold.

Not sure what Nationality the e-Bay CS are has to do with payout holds?  Are you yelling at these CS folks over the phone?

Are you suspended or just on a payout hold with listing limits??

What makes you think you should only pay 5% in fees?

First off, some of your post gives me great concern about your account health. You could be on the verge of a permanent restriction.

Some of my concern stems from what seems like a lack of knowledge about the site. Ebay doesn't “cancel” items for “being out-of-stock.” (They have no way of knowing how many items you possess.) Instead, eBay removes listings that violate policy, and is supposed to send a written explanation as to why. Have you checked your messages and email?

Most everyone gets charged a 12.9% Final Value fee on sold items. That is the usual fee.  Below Standard sellers get assessed an additional percentage of 6% on top of that.

Calling the poorly-trained overseas customer service is not a good use of your time. They have no authority and read from a script. They are known to sometimes give incorrect, or even damaging, advice. You are much better off seeking help from the well-trained reps on eBay’s social media portals. They do have authority to assist.

If you are being suspended multiple times, something is very wrong. If there are accounting reviews, then there is likely some account activity that eBay finds suspicious. You need to understand what that is to prevent more suspensions.

Penalties on eBay are cumulative. After just a few, you are shut down for good. There are no appeals. I suggest you find out immediately what their concerns are. Stop calling the overseas customer service.

Go to eBay’s Facebook for Business page and send a private message outlining briefly what is happening. Then wait for a reply. In the meantime, i would go so far as to take down the high dollar listing until you know for a fact what is causing the suspensions. Visit your seller dashboard to see what it says about your account health there.

You are a relatively new seller with multiple, very expensive items. Sometimes that is enough to trigger a review. eBay has every right to police its site and monitor it for nefarious activity. We all use eBay at its behest, knowing  selling here is a privilege, not a right.

don’t see how they can afford to lose a seller like me. I cleared $12k in a week,..”

Believe me, eBay won’t hesitate to suspend your selling privileges irregardless of your  paydays. They are interested in site security every bit as much as profit. One doesn’t happen without the other.

Yes, I’ve been hung up on so many times. The first dozen or so phone calls I was calm, but this is ridiculous. I already said I sell big ticket items. I did 32 sales two weeks ago all shipped and delivered and made $12k. Like I said they already did this review and cleared me and two days later they’re doing it agin. You guys are literally penalizing success.

@iluvmysportscards

If you sold a $9999 card for a b.o., why is that same card back up for sale for $8400? Was the order canceled? Is that one that you said was OOS?

When I created the account they allowed me to list 250 items or $25000 in sales. So what if I’m within their guidelines the established but they’re penalizing me for it. I cannot use any of my money. They made it available for only two days and they keep reviewing my account even though I haven’t sold anything else. Yes, I sell big ticket items. I hear a lot of jealously but not one reason why they are refusing to allow me to use my funds even though I’m recieving 100% positive feedback and all my items are delivered. They are punishing me for being successful but I have bills just like everyone else. Apparently, I’m just supposed to be patient . They keep hanging up the phone on me and whenever I speak with Customer Service they hang up on me and suspend my account. It sucks. Once my account is suspended I get an American on the phone every time. Once they reinstate it I get someone else and we argue and my account gets suspended. I’m so tired of this. They’re discriminating on me because I asked for someone who speaks English clearly once. She hung up saying I was unprofessional and ever since then I’ve been having these issues. So unfair. I could understand if I didn’t ship anything but everything has been received

i sell sports cards, it clearly says it only charges .30 and 5% for sports cards regardless of amount. It’s right here in their policy. However, they’ve been charging me 12.9% because they claim I’m below standard due to them canceling active auctions with bids on them during the last review they did on me. They canceled like 6 auctions with bids saying I had no inventory so the system put me down to below standard. The American that I spoke to says they can clearly see it and it just needs to send in a ticket for th to fix it. Well, the person that read it decided to say they are valid and will not adjust me back to above standard.  The only thing I am rest assured is that they’re discriminating against me because I asked to speak to someone who speaks English. I only asked for that because of all the issues they’re causing me. Why is it the American can clearly see it is their fault but the others doesn’t care to notice/acknowledge/or fix it?DBD44139-A58B-4E5F-AE9F-783D00D54C76.png

eBay removed my listing due to the review they did. The reason for the removal they put was item was out of stock. It is something they did on the back end when they first suspended my account. They definitely did do it because I did not. Then three days later they told me the review was complete and apologized for everything and told me I can relist the items. I haven’t yet because there was 33 total items they removed . They only removed it because I made $12k within a week on 32 items and it was a performance review. I do not know why they removed them. I received no information why they removed them only that they did. Lie I’ve been saying, I’ve been getting no answers only being told to wait

I have done nothing wrong though. I am assuming it is because I sold so much and they wanted to make sure the buyers get their product. I get it totally. That’s why I overnight any sale over $100 with signature confirmation. I mean the items are being delivered and then they’re suspending the account. It’s always right after I am forced to call them regarding a payment or something. So I know it is one of the foreign people doing it. I was told a supervisor can trigger one of those reviews whenever they feel like it. It socks they’re doing this to me when I’m doing everything correct. At least I thought I was.

Yes order was canceled . Buyer was from China, I accepted the offer. Then he refused to speak to me and eBay told me to cancel that order and relist the item. So I followed their direction and canceled the order.

Did you click the link in post #3 and see the screenshot in post #4?

The screenshot you posted clearly shows that the 5% FVF is for NFTs.

You are selling CARDS which are not NFTs.
