Did you mean:

Fees on second category

So I added a secondary category to some of my listings that are "til cancelled.' The fee is $1.35. How often will I have to pay this fee? Every month or week?

Thanks!

Re: Fees on second category

Yup, every month.

If I may, if, instead of the title "16 inch Mosaic Cobalt Blue Platter by Haviland" you used "Haviland Platter Cobalt Blue Mosaic 16 inch" it may yield better results in search than the expense of listing in 2 categories.   The conventional wisdom is search is weighted to the 1st half of the title more than the last half so put the most likely search terms at the start. In this case the maker, what it is and color.

Of course that is my opinion based on my experience only. Others sellers may differ.

Re: Fees on second category

The fee for a second category with no store is .35 which you would pay every month when the listing is renewed.  The $1 charge must be for something else. Perhaps it’s for gallery plus?

Re: Fees on second category

What type of items are you listing using a secondary category?  It isn't likely to be doing you much good except to spend your money.

If you are just doing it on your China, you might consider just one category and I might suggest one of the Vintage / collectable categories if it is older stuff.

Or international visibility, which costs 50 cents and would be doubled.

Re: Fees on second category

It's 35c in 2024. I just listed a Collectible Vintage vacuum cleaner, listed in Home & Garden and then in Other.  It's  a portable cordless thing and I feel that eBay should have more categories for this. And yes, some folks collect vacuum cleaners, I googled.

Everything is always okay in the end,
if it's not, then it's not the end.
