I find it bothersome that people can not leave feedback. eBay as a company should understand how hard it is to make a profit with the shipping cost going up exponentially. Why do you not remind the buyers for their feedback? I, as a seller, follow the rules and I have 100% reviews in the positive. For every positive remark I get, I also get crickets... Nothing. Why is the onus on me to beg for feedback? It is not good for my business to have to beg for some kind of response. Doing so could cause a negative response. I find it frustrating that you need this to grow your business and your reputation.you can 100% feedback in the positive. but if you are missing feedback from half of your sales I feel like a dog chasing its tail. I am not selling to you eBay. but can you give me some kind of solution to this problem? If I forget to pay my bill. I am sure I would hear about it. If a buyer or a seller forget feedback should be a trigger from you to clear all transactions, Meaning feedback. It takes 2 seconds with the templates available. I will not go to beg for feedback, I am paying for my use of Bay. This should be part of your oversite and understood rules of this site. Frustrated Findsomine

Feedback no longer functions as an integral part of the buying-selling experience on eBay. It is a holdover from the good ole days when the community used feedback to establish their reputations as a good trading partner. It used to be part of a seller’s metrics where a negative score could undermine one’s official standing.
As eBay has evolved, feedback has changed as well. Buyers no longer can receive a negative or neutral score, and now a low score cannot hurt one’s selling metrics. Feedback no longer has the importance it once had.
So while it still has its place as a voluntary program, fewer and fewer are using it. It is generally agreed that asking for feedback is not a good idea. Your instincts already inform you that begging for it can be a negative undertaking. I would be content with whatever feedback is left and not sweat it. There are bigger fish to fry in this skillet.

The feedback is mostly cosmetic, what really matters is how many successful sales you have in your given categories. Don't worry about feedback, just take care of your customers and focus on running your business.
The more sales you drive and the happier your customers are, the higher you'll rank in your categories. I am ranking a lot better for my DVD's now, but I sold hundreds over the last year alone.
If you want more sales you're also going to have to invest more time and energy into listing more often. You can't expect to drive decent sales with so little inventory. I had over $350 in sales last week. But I also have over 1,200 listings, they didn't make themselves. You will only get out what you put in.

My feedback is not left until I receive feedback...and then it is automatic for all positive.
To me, "How do I know it is a good transaction until the transaction is over"...that means after delivered and I know the person is satisfied...If they do not leave feedback...so be it. If they do, then positive feedback is given...
If they leave negative feedback, maybe that warrants my contacting them...maybe not
