I have been a Ebay seller mostly and also a buyer for a very long time . And have allways left positive feedback on purchased items . I am sick and tired of selling items and buyers don't leave feedback . I am not going to leave anymore feedback to anymore of my sales unless Ebay can inform buyers to do the same .

Feedback obviously means a great deal to you. Sadly, it does not for a majority of buyers. There is no chance that eBay is going to insist that buyers leave feedback.

I'm in it for the money. Feedback is nice but my expectations are low as to the % I get. I'm aware of my feedback ratings on the various id's and always hope (and so far get) positive, but I think only about 30% or so leave it at all. Which I'm fine with. As long as I have current feedback.

Right now on this ID I've been listing similar fragile items to picky buyers for the last several weeks, and much more of same to list over the next few, so in this case I am happy to see the positive feedback roll in as in this case I think it helps me more than when selling other items. Same every couple years when I list a pile of LPs and 45's, I like to list them all over a months time because I think in that market good recent feedback from transactions with collectors is very helpful.

I always leave feedback, right now this morning I am 100% caught up, both to buyers as well as sellers. After mentoring a number of sellers over the years, I tend to note new sellers and give them their positive feedback (when earned) ASAP to help them on their way.
