OK so I often leave feedback in the 3rd person, that is, talking about the member without speaking to them directly. For example, "Excellent buyer. Good communication and instant payment. Welcome back anytime"
vs
"Thank you! I appreciate your fast payment. You are welcome back anytime"
Which style do you use and which, if there is such a thing, is the correct format?

I think it is all personal preference of the seller. Both are fine and the difference between the two is not likely to make any difference to the buyer.

Lol..I always personalize my feedbacks and love the term..lightening fast pay!..just me..yours are still 👍 and I think I like the second version better.

For a buyer:
Easy to do business with. Would sell to again. Highly recommended.
For a seller:
Easy transaction, excellent product, quick shipment, great packing. Thanks. A+

Keep in mind that the only person who will ever read your feedback is the buyer. And she is unlikely to leave any feedback for you anyway (less than 40 % of transactions get any feedback at all).
I've had feedback that was just ".".
Still a positive.
Feedback is a relic of the 20th century internet when buying online was new and scary and we all wanted to be friends.
Now it's quotidien.
You bought it? You got it? No worries.
There's a problem ? Message me and we will fix it. No FB needed.

IMHO there is no correct format.
I leave feedback along the lines of "Five stars - smooth transaction" for every buyer.

Such a sweet question. LOL
Either is fine.
Hope you get, and also get to leave, lots of it!

First person.
Third person (especially in person) seems a little creepy to me.
Didn't SNL used to have a character/skit where the guy was always talking in 3rd person?

Don't sweat it. I feel a bit creepy every time I select one of my pre-written feedbacks.
Excellent buyer. Smooth transaction. A++!
There's not much to work with here. Just say something nice, useful, positive, and/or flattering. You're expected to leave positive feedback unless negative is warranted, in which case you aren't allowed.
My honest feedback would depend on my mood but might sound something like: "Thanks for your order. Hope to see you again."
