Feedback removal process we have gone back in time

For just a moment my faith in ebay had come back, when you received unfair feedback I was able to talk to a person, they would look at messages I would explain the whole situation and many times the feedback was removed, and mind you that was the right decision these were buyers who abused policies, blackmailed you, behaved badly, it was wonderful to interact with a human.  

Now we  have gone back in time to the old days when the buyers can do whatever they want and you will get nothing from ebay. 

Had a buyer claim we shipped them the wrong bracelet, I will not deny we make mistakes, we were shipping very similar looking items that week would be very easy for a staff member to swap a piece. I asked the buyer to please send a picture so we could figure out what they received then figure out if one we still have there's or if we sent to wrong buyer.  They refuse to send a photograph, so I ask them to send it back we will refund all their money and try to find the correct one, they also refuse to do that want to wait to see if the other buyer contacts us they got the wrong one, times passes we say please just send back so we can straighten out, they again refuse.  Now they have left bad feedback, it is crazy that this is allowed, they can make up a story with no proof then judge me guilty in the feedback world and ebay will do nothing, oh yes I followed their new process, I submitted my evidence and nothing. This is beyond crazy that this is allowed, also we have no way to complain about these issues.  We used to at least get ebay open each year where you often got a chance to talk to people with authority give feedback, now nothing when you call in you are told we will pass that up the chain, which we know does not happen.

With  my buyers when we do make a mistake typically I give them a full refund often we let them keep the original item and ship them their original item for not cost, there  have been times I let them pick any item within a price range for free to make up for our error, so yes we will go above and beyond to leave a customer with a good taste in their mouth but they have to work with us, I have also had people try to outright defraud us so yes I do ask for a little proof but that does not seem like too much.  

I feel better for venting, but if ebay only realized how many sales they have lost, I have moved so much business off ebay over the years because it is just not worth this hassle.  Yes I will continue to sell on ebay but I will only take a risk on items that are valuable enough that I need to get outside my immediate area and I will continue to explore other avenues.

I doubt this will be of any consolation but I read your post in a (Soviet-era) Russian accent, which from me is a compliment (I love it).  I also love the forlorn passivity of Russian complaining or at least the way it is portrayed on tv/movies.  Sounds like they are using their last dying breaths to whine but the grievances are actually pretty legit.

Your most current negative feedback is not likely to get removed as it doesn't break any of the feedback rules.  Even if what they said is not correct, it is extremely unlikely that Ebay will remove it.
